Queen Elizabeth 2 is Dubai's only floating hotel, permanently docked at Mina Rashid in Port Rashid, Bur Dubai. The legendary ocean liner has been carefully restored as a 4-star hotel while preserving the maritime character, original details and heritage that made the QE2 one of the world's most famous ships. The property offers 447 rooms and suites for leisure travellers, families and business guests, with selected accommodation overlooking the sea, port or Dubai skyline. Accommodation ranges from compact Standard and Classic rooms with original porthole windows to Superior, Signature, Legacy and Deluxe rooms, family accommodation, Captain's rooms and a collection of distinctive suites. Many rooms retain authentic nautical features while adding modern comforts such as complimentary Wi-Fi, air conditioning, tea and coffee facilities, in-room safes and contemporary bathrooms. Selected top-tier rooms and suites include balconies or larger living areas, while the Royal Suites reflect the ship's historic first-class heritage. Guests can enjoy an indoor swimming pool, fully equipped gym and spa experiences, along with the QE2's Heritage Tour, live performances at Theatre by QE2, the TrendSetters unisex salon and scheduled complimentary shuttle services to selected Dubai locations. The hotel is also home to significant meeting and celebration venues, including historic ballrooms, boardrooms and outdoor decks that make the ship a distinctive setting for conferences, weddings and social events. Dining is part of the QE2 experience. Lido serves international cuisine in a bright setting with large windows, The Golden Lion offers a classic British pub atmosphere, The Pavilion provides an outdoor dining and shisha setting, and 24-hour in-room dining is available. The QE2 also features heritage afternoon-tea experiences and café-style options; however, the hotel currently advises that Queen's Grill and The Chart Room by Lido are temporarily unavailable, so these venues should not be promoted as operating until the hotel confirms reopening. Al Ghubaiba Metro is approximately 900 metres away according to Accor, while Dubai International Airport is around 12 km away. Complimentary scheduled shuttle services connect guests with selected Dubai locations.
