This Intellectual Property Policy explains who owns what on Book GCC Trip: our brand and platform, the content hotels and partners supply for display, and any content you submit yourself. It also explains what you are permitted to do with material you find on the platform, and how to raise a concern about intellectual property — whether it is ours, yours, or a third party's.
This policy is the fuller version of Section 27 (Intellectual Property) of our Terms and Conditions. It applies to every visitor to our platform and every account holder.
The Book GCC Trip name, logo, platform design and layout, and original written content (such as help articles, policy text, and marketing copy we author) are the intellectual property of the operator and/or its licensors, and are protected under applicable UAE and international intellectual property law.
The software, underlying architecture, and technical systems that power the platform — including search, pricing, and booking logic — are likewise owned by the operator and/or its licensors. Nothing in this policy, or in your use of the platform, transfers ownership of any of this to you.
We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the platform to search for and book accommodation, and to view, print, or download a page from the platform for your own personal, non-commercial use — for example, saving a booking confirmation for your records.
This licence does not permit you to copy, republish, redistribute, or create derivative works from the platform’s design, layout, software, or original written content, or to use any part of the platform for a commercial purpose, without our prior written permission. This licence ends automatically if you breach these terms or our Acceptable Use Policy.
Hotel photographs, floor plans, amenity lists, and property descriptions displayed on the platform are typically supplied to us by the hotel itself or by third-party content and distribution partners. This content remains the property of the hotel or the relevant content partner. We display it on the platform under licence, arrangement, or permission from the party that supplied it, and we do not claim ownership of hotel-supplied or partner-supplied content.
We take reasonable steps to display third-party content accurately and to use it only as permitted by the party who supplied it, but we are not the owner of that content and any rights concern belonging to it should generally be raised with us so we can route it appropriately, as described in Section 6 below.
If a feature of the platform allows you to submit content — for example, a review, rating, or written feedback about a stay, where that feature is made available to you — you retain ownership of what you write. By submitting it, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to display, reproduce, and moderate that content on the platform in connection with the booking experience.
You confirm that anything you submit is your own genuine content, is accurate to your knowledge, and does not infringe another person’s intellectual property or other rights. See our Acceptable Use Policy for the standards that apply to any content you submit.
The Book GCC Trip name and logo are protected marks. You may not use them — including in a domain name, social media handle, advertising, or any other context that could suggest an affiliation with or endorsement by us — without our prior written permission.
Hotel names, chain logos, and other third-party trademarks that appear on the platform belong to their respective owners and are used to identify the relevant property or provider, not to suggest that the trademark owner endorses Book GCC Trip, unless separately agreed with that owner.
If you believe content on Book GCC Trip infringes your intellectual property rights, or the intellectual property rights of someone you represent, contact us at support@bookgcctrip.com with:
We will review genuine reports in good faith and take appropriate action, which may include removing or updating the content in question, or contacting the party who supplied it (such as a hotel or content partner) to resolve the concern. Where a report concerns content supplied by a hotel or third-party partner, we may need to pass the report to that party as part of our review.
The same contact process in Section 6 applies if you believe Book GCC Trip itself — rather than content supplied by a hotel or partner — is using your intellectual property without permission. Please provide the same information so we can look into it properly and respond.
