Marketing Consent Policy

Effective date: 1 August 2026  ·  Last updated: 6 August 2026
Policy Version 1.0  ·  Policy Owner: Book GCC Trip

This Marketing Consent Policy explains how Book GCC Trip obtains your consent before sending marketing communications, what marketing communications are, and how you can withdraw that consent at any time.

It works alongside our Email Communication Policy, which explains the different categories of email we send and which ones are essential to delivering your booking, and our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your personal data more generally.

1. Definitions

"Marketing Communications":
promotional emails, offers, destination inspiration, and newsletters sent by or on behalf of Book GCC Trip that are not necessary to deliver a booking you have already made.
"Transactional or Essential Communications":
messages necessary to deliver a booking you have made, such as a booking confirmation, payment receipt, or itinerary change — see our Email Communication Policy for the full list. These are not marketing and are not covered by this policy.

2. Marketing Is Opt-In

We only send marketing communications — such as promotional offers, destination inspiration, or newsletters — to guests who have opted in to receive them. Creating an account or completing a booking does not, by itself, opt you into marketing.

4. What Marketing Communications Look Like

Marketing communications from Book GCC Trip may include promotional offers and discounts, destination inspiration and travel content, and periodic newsletters. They are distinct from transactional and service communications tied to a specific booking or support request — see our Email Communication Policy for the full breakdown of message categories and how each is used.

6. Marketing Consent Withdrawal Does Not Affect Essential Communications

Withdrawing consent to marketing does not stop us sending transactional or essential communications about an active booking, such as a booking confirmation, payment receipt, itinerary change, or a reply to a support request. We need to be able to reach you about a booking you have made regardless of your marketing preferences — see our Email Communication Policy and Section 24 of our Terms and Conditions for how account and booking communications work.

7. How Quickly We Honour an Opt-Out

We aim to process an unsubscribe or opt-out request promptly. An unsubscribe link generally takes effect immediately for future sends on that channel; where you ask us via Customer Support to update your preferences, we aim to action that request within a reasonable time, generally within a few business days. A small number of messages already queued or in transit at the moment you opt out may still be delivered.
