This policy explains how we keep the prices you see accurate, what "price revalidation" means before you pay, and how we handle the rare case of a genuine pricing or content error — instead of using legal language to excuse an inaccurate price or a hidden mandatory charge.
Before you select a room, and again at checkout, we show you: the selected hotel, dates, room type, occupancy, and meal plan (if any); the base price; taxes and fees included in the Total Price; any Property-Payable Charges collected separately by the hotel; the final Total Price and currency; the cancellation status (non-refundable, subject to the two exceptions in our Cancellation & Refund Policy); and, where relevant, a booking deadline for a limited-availability rate.
The price shown on a hotel's search result, the hotel detail page, and checkout is drawn from the same pricing engine — we do not show one price to attract a click and a different, higher price at checkout. Where our Google Hotel Distribution Disclosure applies, the same pricing engine also determines the price made available to Google, so the landing page and checkout price stay consistent with what is shown there.
When you submit payment, we re-verify the price server-side against the same pricing engine used when the price was first shown to you, rather than trusting whatever value was cached in your browser. This confirms the amount you are about to be charged matches what you were shown, and protects you from stale or manipulated pricing data.
Once you have accepted a price and your payment is successfully authorised, we do not increase that price for the same booking. If, in the rare case, our revalidation step in Section 3 finds the price has genuinely changed since you started checkout (for example, a hotel updated its rate moments earlier), we show you the updated price and ask you to confirm it before any charge is made — we never charge a higher amount than you last accepted without your active confirmation.
Occasionally a price, room description, or availability figure supplied to us by a hotel or data partner may contain an obvious, genuine error — for example, a rate that is clearly a small fraction of the realistic market rate due to a currency or data-entry mistake. Where we identify such an error before your payment completes, we will not complete the booking at the erroneous price; we will show you the corrected price and complete the booking only if you accept it.
If an error is only discovered after payment has completed, we will contact you promptly, explain the error, and offer either the corrected price (with any difference refunded or charged only with your agreement) or a full refund and cancellation of that booking at no cost to you.
